Monica’s Vault is flipping a home built in the 1970s. Every room was painted by my Uncle Raymond whom have over 30+ years experience in painting. My husband, Joseph Lockett, added can lights, replaced all light fixtures, updated all countertops, installed flooring and so much more. We as a team (including the owner of this beautiful home) removed wallpaper, knocked down a wall, painted, etc. This is an awesome experience and beautiful flip.

The Kitchen

The owner wanted floating shelves. What is the best way to showcase floating shelves above a countertop? “Wall up” backsplash!! It came out beautifully!! We also used black grout in the backsplash and countertops. The countertop were done in a budget friendly way. Black tile was use with black grout to give a seamless look. We also trimmed the countertop with 2 inch wood and stained them charcoal gray.

The LivingRoom

To start the wallpaper was removed and the walls were painted. We decided to keep the grooves in the paneling since we were going for an farmhouse/ industrial vibe. Omg!! The walls were beautiful with the 1st coat. The groves were enlightened in the perfect way. The owner chose matte white for the walls. We removed the corbels from under the mantel to give it a clean look. I re-stained the mantel and painted the bricks. What a wonderful flip!!

The Dinning Room

We knocked down the wall that divided the living Room and Dining Room to open up the area. My uncle Larry added an exposed beam for support. I stained it to match the fireplace mantle.

This is the wall to the right in before pic above.

The Guest Bathroom

I love the wallpaper, but the owner wanted something different. Of course we painted the walls, updated the floors, sink, countertop, and bath backsplash.
